Since 2006, that belief has guided our mission, and in 2024, it gained new momentum through our Educational Support Cambodia program.
This year’s initiatives were not just a continuation of our work—they were a bold step forward. Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and donor generosity, we delivered life-changing resources to underserved students. 🎯 Why Educational Support Matters in Cambodia
Despite national progress, 82% of Cambodia’s population still lives in rural areas, where access to quality education remains a daily struggle. Many children walk long distances to school, lack basic supplies, and face pressure to drop out and support their families.
At SSF, we see education as the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and protect children from exploitation, trafficking, and abuse. That’s why our 2024 initiatives focused on removing the most pressing obstacles to learning: transportation, school supplies, and administrative capacity.
🌟 2024 Highlights: Delivering Hope, One Student at a Time
In collaboration with Ark Electronics and the General Department of Technical and Materials of the Ministry of National Defense, SSF delivered targeted support to one of the poorest schools in Koh Kong Province.
- 🎒 339 School Uniforms (Three Sets Per Student) Uniforms symbolize dignity and belonging. By providing three sets per student, we reduced the financial burden on families and created an equal learning environment.
- 🚲 113 Bicycles for Rural Students Reliable transportation improved attendance and safety, ensuring children could fully participate in school life.
- ✏️ 113 Schoolbags with Complete Stationery Sets Essential supplies empowered students to engage actively in class and take pride in their learning.
- 💻 2 Laptops and 1 Printer for School Administration Supporting administrators with technology improved record-keeping, enrollment tracking, and communication, ensuring sustainable progress.
