About Us
Sao Sary Foundation (SSF) is a Cambodian non-governmental organization based in Chbar Mon City, Kampong Speu Province, committed to advancing a transformative Cambodia child protection nonprofit mission. Since its founding in 2006, SSF has become a trusted force for change, working relentlessly to safeguard vulnerable children from the threats of human trafficking, child labor, and sexual exploitation. Rooted in compassion and guided by community wisdom, SSF’s approach is holistic—addressing not only the immediate needs of at-risk children but also the systemic challenges that perpetuate poverty and abuse.
Through a dynamic blend of education access, healthcare outreach, family sponsorships, and economic empowerment, SSF empowers families to become resilient and self-sufficient. Our Impact
Through its Cambodia child protection nonprofit mission, the Sao Sary Foundation is transforming lives in Cambodia’s rural heartlands—where poverty, distance, and vulnerability often keep children from education, safety, and opportunity.
We are proud to announce the launch of the Build the School Cambodia project in Prekyang village. On March 20, 2026, we held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for a new five-classroom school that will serve more than 200 children. Thanks to the support of the Lions Club of Ampang and the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia, this vision is becoming reality.
🎓 In 2024–2025, we welcomed 113 of the poorest children into our education program, providing bicycles, 339 uniforms, and schoolbags with full stationery kits—thanks to the generosity of Ark Electronics and Madam Zhang Wenxia. These resources protect children from exploitation by keeping them in school.
🏥 We equipped Ampov Prey Health Center with a renewable energy system, diagnostic equipment, and nutritional support, now serving 2,000+ patients monthly—a major step forward in rural healthcare access.
📱 With 14 iPhone 16 devices, we enhanced coordination with government partners, accelerating project delivery and strengthening institutional trust.
🌍 We published our 2024 Annual Report on Give.Asia to uphold transparency, build donor confidence, and invite global support for our Cambodia child protection nonprofit mission.
Since 2006, SSF has impacted 100,000+ lives, sponsored 8,913 children, and served 23 villages—proving that strategic compassion can rewrite futures.
